About OneBigVoice
Born from a passion for inclusive music education, we’ve grown from a single school choir into Australia’s largest children’s singing festival. Our mission is to empower every child with the lifelong gift of song.
A Movement of Musical Inclusion
One Big Voice was founded on a core belief: every child can sing, and every child deserves the chance to experience the profound joy of singing in harmony. We don’t hold auditions, and we don’t judge. Instead, we provide a safe, exhilarating platform where primary students can find their voice alongside thousands of their peers.
By removing the pressure of competition, we allow students to focus entirely on collaboration, self-expression, and the pure, unadulterated fun of making music together. It’s an educational journey that culminates in a spectacular arena performance.

“When children sing together, they build a community that listens together.”
Our Guiding Philosophy
Over Two Decades of Harmony
What started in 2001 as a modest gathering of local school choirs has blossomed into a national phenomenon. Our founders realized early on that teachers needed high-quality, accessible resources to lead choirs with confidence, regardless of their own musical background.

The Visionaries & Educators
One Big Voice is driven by a passionate collective of musical directors, vocal coaches, and logistics experts. We are former and current teachers who understand the realities of the classroom.
We handpick, arrange, and choreograph our entire repertoire to ensure it is age-appropriate, musically enriching, and incredibly fun. Our team provides ongoing support to educators throughout the year.

Stories of Harmony
The true impact of One Big Voice isn’t measured in ticket sales or arena sizes—it’s measured in the stories of children finding their confidence and communities coming together.
